The washed aggregates sector is a vital yet under-represented part of the UK construction materials industry. While the UK leads Europe in the use of recycled aggregates, with 30% of the market comprised of recycled materials, the focus on washed aggregates remains limited. With the Government focused on the circular economy and meeting net-zero carbon targets and sustainability, the opportunity exists for our sector to grow and become a vital part of the UK construction landscape.
